The carriage rides vary in length depending on what type of service and how much of a ride you would like.
• Wedding carriage rides begin at thirty minutes of service and can go all day depending on your customized package.
• A Romantic Outing varies in length from a short taxi ride trip to a restaurant or a leisurely ride through the city.
• Hay rides can be an hour long or an all day affair.
• Horse drawn hearse services vary depending on the distance to be traveled.

What can I expect before and after my ride?
Clients of Charleston Coach can expect professional, friendly, and customized service. We know Charleston very well and have much experience in the events industry. We arrive punctually with a detailed carriage and dressed appropriately. We are here to give you the best experience possible. After your time of service has ended we will drive away and pack up the horse and carriage in an inconspicuous location.

Can I pick the carriage?
Charleston Coach offers two different carriages for our wedding packages. We offer a White Victoria carriage with red interior and a Black Victoria carriage. Each is extremely elegant for wedding transportation.

How can I pay?
Charleston Coach accepts cash, checks, and credit cards (MasterCard or Visa) for payment. We require a 25% deposit with signed contract to make the reservation official. The remaining balance is due at the time of service, for weddings we recommend final payment before the day of service.

What areas do you provide rides?
Rides are provided throughout the Lowcountry of South Carolina and surrounding areas. Please contact us to check on a location.

What are your favorite ride places?
The historic nature of Charleston lends itself to carriage rides. We have many favorite places for carriage rides including the many plantation homes, parks, historic streets of downtown, and areas outside of the Charleston metro area.

Do you give tours?
Charleston Coach does not give tours of downtown Charleston. We are similar to a chauffer or taxi service in the downtown Charleston area.

Why don’t you give tours?
We are not licensed as a carriage tour company. This allows us to be able to take our clients through residential areas on rides where the tour companies are not able to go.
